Whole-Body Support for Dental Wellness and Recovery
Biological and integrative dentistry recognizes that oral health is connected to the health of the whole body. Flowpresso supports this philosophy with innovative lymphatic therapy designed to enable relaxation, nervous system regulation, and whole-body fluid movement. From helping patients feel more settled before complex dental procedures to complementing post-operative recovery protocols, Flowpresso offers a new way to support patients throughout their dental care journey.
The head and neck contain more than 300 lymph nodes that help drain fluid from the mouth, jaw, and surrounding tissues. This network ultimately delivers lymph fluid back into the bloodstream at the base of the neck.
Dental procedures, including extractions, implants, and treatment of chronic infections, can create inflammation and affect this drainage system.
Effective lymphatic support looks beyond the treatment site. By addressing drainage pathways, practitioners can help support fluid movement from the face and jaw toward the body’s main drainage outlets.
Support for the Patient, Not Just the Procedure.
Calmer patients in the chair
Dental anxiety drives cancellations, low case acceptance, and harder appointments. A Flowpresso session before a long implant, grafting, or full-arch appointment uses deep pressure and heat to support a parasympathetic, “rest and digest” state, so patients arrive calmer and more settled.
Recovery support for surgical cases
After extractions, implant placement, bone grafting, etc Flowpresso offers whole-body lymphatic support that complements your practice’s post-op protocol. Lymph from the oral and facial tissues drains into the central lymphatic system, and Flowpresso supports flow through those central pathways. Sessions can run with heat off and are timed with the dentist’s clearance
Recovery Between Appointments
Amalgam revision runs across multiple long visits. A recovery session scheduled between them gives the patient something active to do inside a sequence that otherwise asks them only to wait.
Oral-systemic care, made tangible
Biological dentists already treat the mouth as part of the whole body. Flowpresso gives them a whole-body, nervous-system and lymphatic service that fits alongside protocols they already offer.
Parasympathetic Reset
Deep pressure and integrated heat shift the nervous system toward a parasympathetic state. For a patient population where dental anxiety is the reason many of them avoided care for years, this is often the part they talk about.
Sleep and Downtime Support
92% of study participants reported improved sleep after three sessions. Relevant to every patient recovering from oral surgery, and directly relevant if you do airway and sleep work.
Business Benefits
New Revenue That Never Touches an Operatory.
An operatory is the most expensive room in your building per hour. Flowpresso runs in a recovery or consultation room, on a timer, without a clinician present. Capacity is limited by rooms and staff hours, not by your chair schedule.
It Attaches to Case Value You Already Have.
Full mouth revision and surgical cases already carry substantial multi-appointment fees. A recovery block priced into the case is a far smaller decision for a patient who has already committed than a standalone purchase is for someone walking in.
Something to Give Your Referral Network.
Your practice sits inside a referral web with functional medicine, naturopathic and chiropractic clinics. A drainage service extends to that network as well as your own patients, which turns a capital purchase into a relationship asset and fills the gaps in your own case flow.
- Implants and grafts take months to heal between phases, Flowpresso sessions can keep patients engaged with the practice while providing meaningful recovery benefits and support between dental appointments.
Where it fits
Which patients, and where in their procedural and recovery journey.
Post-surgical is the obvious first group: defined episode of care, motivated patient, easiest conversation.
Oral surgery cases. Extractions, cavitation debridement, implant placement, grafting
A recovery block arranged before the procedure, beginning the day after
Amalgam revision sequences. Multiple long appointments, high case value
Between appointments in the sequence, and after the final one.
Airway and sleep patients. Long treatment horizons, already engaged on recovery
Ongoing, alongside appliance therapy or myofunctional work.
Referred systemic cases. Sent by functional medicine or naturopathic partners
Standalone, often before dental work begins
Highly anxious patients. The reason many avoided care for years
Before a long appointment, as nervous-system preparation.

What Is Flowpresso?
An automated lymphatic therapy system that combines compression, heat and deep pressure in one 40-minute session. Your patient lies fully clothed in a full-body suit while the system works through each zone.
Compression Therapy
Cyclic pneumatic pressure from distal to proximal. Stimulates lymphatic drainage throughout the full body at 130mmHg – validated by peer-reviewed research, higher than consumer devices.
Heat Therapy
Gentle thermotherapy across four independent body zones: feet, legs, trunk, and arms. Adjustable per client, per zone.
Deep Pressure Therapy
Targeted pressure shifts the nervous system from sympathetic to parasympathetic. Clients feel it immediately – it is why 92% report better sleep and why they rebook.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Flowpresso treat the face or the surgical site?
No. Compression is applied to the trunk and limbs. Any effect on recovery is systemic rather than local, and we describe it that way. Where facial drainage is clinically indicated, that’s manual work delivered by someone trained to do it.
Who on my team can run it?
Trained staff, subject to the device labelling and your state’s delegation rules.
What’s the evidence for lymphatic drainage in dentistry?
The strongest clinical evidence in this region comes from oral surgery and manual lymphatic drainage approach. Several randomized and controlled split-mouth trials showing reduced postoperative swelling and discomfort after third molar removal.
How much space does it need?
A treatment room or quiet corner with space for a treatment table and the unit. [Confirm footprint and power requirements.]
Is it covered by insurance?
Most clinics offer Flowpresso as a cash-pay service and set their own price. Talk to your billing advisor about your clinic’s situation.
What do clinics charge per session?
Pricing depends on your market and service model. Use the calculator above to model different prices, or ask us what clinics in your area charge.
How long is a session?
Sessions are timer-run and the patient stays fully clothed. While re recommend 40 minute session, timing, frequency and suitability are the treating clinician’s decision.
Are there patients who shouldn't use it?
Yes. Flowpresso has contraindications listed in its labeling. The treating practitioner decides suitability for each patient.
What does it cost, and is financing available?
Book a discovery call for current pricing. Financing is available, including options with no payments for the first 6 months.
What training and support do we get?
