At the heart of Flowpresso® is a sophisticated system that delivers targeted pneumatic air pressure and heat therapy. With its advanced computerized power unit, practitioners can precisely control treatment parameters, ensuring a tailored pneumatic compression therapy experience for each patient.
Designed with patient comfort in mind, Flowpresso® features various inflatable wraps equipped with Velcro fasteners to secure around the back, hips, and extremities. Its 22 internal chambers inflate and deflate sequentially, ensuring a gentle and effective therapeutic pressure, delivering full body compression therapy.
Flowpresso® is engineered for ease of use. Its touch screen interface allows for seamless management of therapy sessions, enabling healthcare providers to adjust, monitor treatment times, temperature, and compression settings effortlessly within this advanced compression therapy device.
Flowpresso® - a combination of therapies
Flowpresso® delivers compression, heat and deep pressure therapy simultaneously to encourage the body’s inner systems to activate.
Compression technology was first introduced to medicine to treat a variety of ailments, including circulatory conditions. About 25 years ago, compression was adopted for use in sport medicine to improve exercise performance and recovery. The cyclic pneumatic compression within Flowpresso® is delivered to different areas of the body to improve lymphatic drainage, positioning it as a premium lymphatic compression machine for clinical applications.
Thermotherapy, or heat therapy, can help with a variety of health issues. Flowpresso® utilizes thermotherapy in the four primary garment sections to embrace the body with a gentle, healing warmth, creating a comforting environment that allows the body to finally rest and relax. The technique of Deep Pressure Therapy is often used to calm anxious people—improving their ability to cope.
